Global Waste Management Symposium

October 3 - 6, 2010
JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa
Join Your Peers and Colleagues for 3 Days of Presentations of Research and Case Studies on Waste Management!

The Global Waste Management Symposium (GWMS) is a 3-day event serving the needs of the landfill community within the solid waste and recycling industry.  The Technical Program focuses on the presentation of fundamental and applied research conducted in the solid waste industry.

Both oral and poster presentations are offered after they are accepted through a peer review process by the Technical Committee.

The Global Waste Management Symposium serves as a forum for applied and fundamental research and case studies on waste management.  Penton invites the community of designers, facility owners and operators, policymakers, and researchers to participate.  The GWMS includes oral and poster presentations, as well as networking events to provide opportunities for technical interaction and discussion, in a setting where all participants can participate and share ideas.  The event will conclude with a golf outing at a new Pete Dye-designed course, site of the TPC San Antonio PGA Tour event!

Strategic partners:  Environmental Research & Education Foundation, WasteAge, and NSWMA/WASTEC

Visit http://www.wastesymposium.com to learn more and register.

EREF’s Annual Auction

Held in conjunction with WasteExpo, EREF’s Auction is its largest fundraiser.  The auction is a direct result of the generosity of members of the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) who have donated the refuse equipment that has raised $15 million to benefit the foundation.
