PFAS in Landfill Leachate and Gas: Comparing to National Averages

NC State has data on PFAS concentrations in landfill leachate from approximately 35 landfills across the U.S. and the TRSWA landfill samples will add to this database. Similarly, NC State is in the middle of a nation-wide campaign to measure PFAS in landfill gas and the data from Three Rivers Solid Waste Authority will be added to the NC State dataset. The objective of this work is to measure the concentrations of PFAS in the leachate and gas from the TRSWA landfill in South Carolina.
