The Environmental Research & Education Foundation of Canada (EREF-CA) is a non‐profit public charity that supports research and educational initiatives related to sustainable solid waste management practices in Canada.

Purpose of EREF-CA:
To advance education by conducting and funding research on all aspects of the Canadian solid waste management industry to achieve greater sustainability, higher process efficiency and increased knowledge and making the results publicly available.

Canadian Steering Committee Members:
The Canadian Steering Committee exists to assist with identifying important areas of solid waste research needed in Canada.
