 Meet our panel:

Dr. Bryan Staley, President and CEO of the Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF), brings over two decades of experience in the environmental engineering field. His expertise lies in solid waste management, where he has served the industry as a project manager, vice-president of engineering, and now as the CEO of EREF, which is a significant source of solid waste management industry data, research funding, and scholarships.

Sean McGinnis, a partner at COEFFICIENT, contributes a wealth of experience in energy, climate, and environmental policy. He was instrumental in shaping PFAS policy and establishing a national PFAS receivers coalition, an initiative that spans drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, composting, and local government associations. His insights into the intersection of policy, communication, and markets are essential in navigating the complexities of PFAS policy.

Anne Germain, the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Technical and Regulatory Affairs for the National Waste & Recycling Association, brings over 30 years of resource conservation and materials management experience to our panel. Her extensive work in addressing common issues facing the industry will provide invaluable perspectives on the strategies necessary for an effective response to PFAS-related challenges.

Dr. Arie Kremen, Senior Client Manager at Tetra Tech, is a seasoned solid waste engineer and environmental scientist, who offers deep expertise in landfill design and construction, landfill redevelopment, and leachate treatment and management. His role as the Chair of the SWANA Landfill Liquids Technical Committee and Vice-Director of the Landfill Management Division adds valuable depth to our understanding of PFAS management in landfill contexts.

Join us to gain a comprehensive understanding of PFAS policy from our accomplished panel as they demystify complex issues and help guide future policies and practices.
